In 1994, DC Comics hired a writer named James Robinson to write a book titled Starman. It was spun out of the Zero Hour event and was about a legacy character who very few mainstream comic fans knew. It was a hit and the series ended 7 years later in 2001. DC has recently released the entire series in Omnibus format and if you have never read it you should pick it up and try it.
With the spoilers and solicts for the DCnU in September, James Robinson was missing from the creator list. He has been writing JLA for DC and people were beginning to speculate about why he was absent.
We now have the answer. He is revisiting the world of Starman with a new 12 issue mini-series that is debuting in October. Take it away DC.
