First, Dark Horse has Buffy season 9 issue #1, Roy Thomas writing the ongoing Conan Road of Kings, and all of the Star Wars books.
DC has their re-launch of 52 new #1 titles, including new #1's of Action Comics and Detective Comics. This has the comic world buzzing right now about all of the possible story ideas and where the company can go from here.
Zenescope has all of the Grimm Fairy Tales books including a new Neverland book. Plus their newest hit, The Fly and a soon to be hit Raven Gregory's horror book The Theater.
Dynamite Entertainment has a new Bionic Man series written by none other than Kevin Smith. They also have a comic adaptation of George R.R. Martin's A Game of Thrones beginning as well. This could be a hot book considering the popularity of the HBO series based on the book.
Marvel is coming close to a conclusion with the Fear Itself story and all of its tie-ins. The Ultimate universe is shipping issue 2 of Spider-Man and Ultimates and a new #1 of Ultimate X-Men. The mutants are taking center stage along with Fear Itself leading to the new status quo in October.
It is the end of an era in Image because long time Witchblade writer Ron Marz is leaving the book after this months' issue #150.
There are more books than I have money for. Luckily for me my local shop, which can be found online at www.poepoz.net offers a good subscription discount. Look up the information online because it is good for online subscribers as well.
